first blog among other cliches

I think that it was Pablo Picasso that said, "There is nothing more difficult than the line." Something like that. I find that after my terribly cliche subject line that there is really nothing saving this first blog, especially not the introduction to it, and though I am sitting here trying to be creative, nothing is really coming to mind at the moment. Perhaps I'm being too confessional for my "blog space", but I really don't know what a "blog space" is and therefore can't know for sure.

I'm very excited for this class. I'm passionate about writing, about understanding composition as a created thing, as an art. Despite this, I could conjure up an anxiety day-mare right now just thinking of thirty eyes staring me down in some kind of freshman firing squad formation, my back to a blackboard. In the end, I'm covered in chalk and no one's learned anything. Clearly I'm in the market for some tools.
